Our community is rural in nature and still has many operating farms. We are in Northern Alamance County. Population of Alamance County is approximately 171,000. Conveniently located only 12 miles from Burlington (Burlington has a population of around 50,000) with easy access to Interstates 85 and 40. Alamance Regional Medical Center (our hospital known as ARMC) is a part of the Cone Health System and LabCorp is one of the largest employers in Burlington. Just a short drive will find you with many restaurants to choose from as well as many sites to visit.
Historical sites and outdoor dramas, several parks for hiking, swimming, horseback riding, children’s playgrounds. golf courses, access to water rafting and canoeing, Visual Arts Center, Science Center, Children’s Museum, and performing arts (in particular, the recently opened Tanger Center for Performing Arts in Greensboro) to name a few.
Shiloh Community Church is within 5 miles of elementary, middle, and high schools. There are also other schools including charter schools.
Universities and colleges nearby include Elon, UNC-Greensboro, A & T, UNC-Chapel Hill, Duke, NC State. Alamance Community College, and Rockingham Community College
35 minutes to Piedmont Triad International airport in Greensboro, and 45 minutes to the Raleigh/Durham International Airport.
